Our Biscotti

What makes Francesca's Biscotti unique is her recipe. She created her own special dough by playing with one she grew up using every Easter. This dough would be shaped into various figurines for different members of the family. The girls would get a doll (pupazza) , the boys would get a horse (cavalluccio), and their father would get a heart (il cuore).

Nonna enjoyed making this dough so much that she wanted to find a way to make it more often without having to shape the dough into figurenes. She thought that if she could turn this dough into biscotti, she would be able to share it with her friends and family when they stopped by her house.

After years of trial and error, Nonna perfected her biscotti recipe and now it has become a staple in her home. So many family and friends love her biscotti that we decided we wanted to have a way to share this recipe with everyone. Why? Because everyone needs a Nonna.
